Reason for Recall: This recall is being conducted at the request of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) because the product violates the mandatory federal safety standard for products containing button cell or coin batteries (16 CFR PART 1263). The lithium coin batteries in the charger were accessible to children, the included batteries lacked child-resistant packaging, and the packaging did not bear the required warnings mandated by Reese's Law.

Description: This recall involves the CT-Energy Lithium Coin Battery Charger kit, which includes a charger and rechargeable LIR2032 coin batteries. The kits sold between March 19, 2024, and May 23, 2025.

STOP USING the recalled charger kit immediately.

Full Refund: No need to return the product, just submit photos of destruction of batteries completely submerged in tap water. To safely destroy the batteries: Place the entire battery in a container filled with tap water, ensuring it is fully submerged, and leave it soaking for 24 hours.This will safely discharge them.

FREE Child-Resistant Safety Case: Keep your existing charger and batteries. We will provide you with a complimentary, specially designed child-resistant safety case (including instructions) to securely store the batteries.(you can have it after 15th September)

Replacement Kit: No need to return the product, just submit photos of destruction of batteries completely submerged in tap water. (To safely destroy the batteries: Place the entire battery in a container filled with tap water, ensuring it is fully submerged, and leave it soaking for 24 hours.). We will send you a new, fully compliant charger kit that meets all applicable safety standards, including Reese's Law requirements for battery accessibility and packaging.(you can have it after 15th September)

Note: Button cell and coin batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local procedures for hazardous household waste, not in the trash.
